What's New at the Peter Hoyt HouseUnlike repossessed houses, The Peter Hoyt House is occupied and is being maintained and cared for. We live here and we love the house. Here's what we've done lately: Rebuilt the rear wall of the Great Room (in the photo, it's the third section from the left). Water damage had accumulated over the years, due to poor drainage from the deck. We have rebuilt everything and installed all-new drains. Replaced the tankless coil water heater with a brand-new 50-gallon-tank water heater. Much better flow of hot water, and more energy-efficient. Wonderful showers! Resurfaced the driveway with ledge-pack. Better than gravel: It's a smooth, hard surface that won't peel off during snow removal.
