Where the Heck Is Wentworth?

We get that question a lot. Here’s the answer.

Wentworth, New Hampshire, is a small farming and logging town on the western edge of New Hampshire’s White Mountains – about 130 miles northwest of Boston.

We like to say that Wentworth is in the middle of nowhere, but a short hop to everywhere. By “everywhere,” we mean:

• Route 93 (giving us a straight shot to Boston/Cambridge, Southern New Hampshire, the Route 495/128 industrial belt and an international airport).

• Route 91 (for convenient access to Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York City and points south).

• Two thriving college towns: Plymouth (home of Plymouth State University, 17 miles from Wentworth) and Hanover (home of Dartmouth College, 31 miles from Wentworth).

• Waterville Valley, Squam Lakes and some of New England’s most inspiring natural attractions.

By operating in Wentworth, we keep our overhead low, our lungs and our thinking clear, and our ideas fresh. All of this benefits our clients. In fact, we’ve done some of our best work since relocating to Wentworth from the Greater Boston area twelve years ago. From Wentworth, we’ve served clients in six states (three of them in New England) and the United Kingdom.

Whether you have an internet-based consulting business like ours or a retail business like most of the former owners of The Peter Hoyt House, the house can be ideal for you and your business.
